Flying in tandem means sharing the sky. Here, two gliders navigate the air currents together, showcasing the social and shared nature of this incredible sport. Whether you're flying alongside friends or making new ones in the air, the experience is a collective journey of awe and excitement against the backdrop of the world's highest peaks.

The Sky Party

Paragliding in Pokhara is a communal event. At any given time, there might be 50 gliders in the air. This creates a colorful mosaic against the blue sky. We often fly in 'gaggles' (groups), especially when we find a strong thermal. It’s an incredible feeling to look to your left and see your friend in another glider, waving at you from 50 feet away while you both float over a mountain.

Capturing the Moment

Because we often fly close to other gliders, it offers amazing photo opportunities. You can get photos of yourself with other gliders in the background, which adds scale and depth to your pictures. Our pilots are experts at maneuvering to get that perfect shot where the wing, the mountains, and your smile all align.

Cross-Country Possibilities

For the adventurous souls, we don't just float down; we go exploring. This is called 'Cross Country' or XC. We can fly from Sarangkot along the ridge towards the Green Wall and back. It requires teamwork between pilots and a good understanding of the valley winds. It turns a standard flight into a mini-expedition.
